DMXer는 SainLouis University(세인트루이스대학교), University of baguio(바귀오대학교), University of philippines(필리핀대학교), University of Santo Tomas(산토토마스대학교)의 한국인과 현지인이 모인 대학교연합동아리입니다. 대학생이 아니어도 누구나 참여할 수 있습니다. 고려대 최창규의 권유로 구체적으로 진행되었으며, 성균관대 남궁록의 후원에 힘을 얻어 길거리문화와 역사를 알리고, 길거리 버려진 아이와 동물을 12년째 돕고 같이하고 있습니다. 그리고 성균관대 이재필의 조언과 후원을 받았습니다. 12년간 DMXer는 고유의 자발적 소그룹별 활동방식을 유지하고 있습니다. DMXer activity와 함께 길거리 생명이 여러분의 도움으로 은혜를 입고 있습니다.
DMXer는 자발적 활동입니다. 소그룹별 다양화된 활동으로 발전하였습니다. 지역 곳곳의 길거리문화와 역사를 알리고, 지역의 버려진 아이와 동물에 대한 이야기를 여러분과 공유하길 바랍니다.
DMXer의 지속적자발프로그램 DMXer activity와 함께 활성화된 지역이 있고, 그렇지 않은 지역이 있습니다. 마닐라시티, 만달루용시티, 퀘죤시티, 파시그시티, 마카티시티, 파라냐케시티, 라스피냐스시티, 타기그시티, 바귀오시티, 인트라무로스, 마닐라차이나타운에서는 비교적 활발한 활동이 있습니다. DMXer는 12년간 비영리 방식을 고집하였습니다. 서울시, 경기도, 지방도시를 탐방하며 조금씩 노력하고 있습니다. 외국인이 많이 사는 구로구, 광진구, 영등포구, 수원시, 안산시등 외국인 밀집도가 높은 Town이 1차적 관심지역입니다.
구체적으로 자양동 건국대역(중국인 유학생), 서울 연남동(화교), 대림동(조선족,한족), 김해 동상동, 서상동번화가(동남아), 서울 서초구 서래마을(프랑스), 용산구 동부이촌동(일본인), 인천 송도(이슬람인), 경기도 안산, 수원, 화성, 시흥, 부천, 평택, 군산시, 성남시입니다. 예를들면 광진구 건대입구쪽 중국인 식당가 타운, 안산시 외국인 식당가 타운, 수원시 중국인 식당가타운을 직접 탐방하는 순차적 접근방법입니다.
일단은 곳곳의 거리를 직접 다녀야 실제적 만남을 가질 수 있습니다. 김해 말고는 모두 다녀왔는데 외국인 밀집거리를 걷다 보면 가끔 놀랍니다. 이렇게 많은 외국인들이 한국에 있다는 부분에서 놀라기도 하고, 어떤 지역에서는 한국어가 한 글자도 없는 길거리를 걸으며 놀라기도 합니다.
예를들면 안산시 안산역에서 몇 십분 걸어가면 한국어가 한 글자도 없는 빨간 불빛들로 화려하게 번화한 길거리를 보기도 합니다.
DMXer는 여러분과 함께 조금씩 그리고 조금씩 길거리 버려진 생명을 돕고, 길거리문화를 알리고 있습니다. 활성화되지 않은 지역도 "24시간길거리연락사무소"와 여러분의 도움을 통해 조금씩 활성화 되고, 길거리 소중한 생명과 지방 곳곳의 길거리 이야기가 여러분과 공유되기를 바랍니다ᆞ
DMXer volunteer activity. History of DMXer’s In this city called “Baguio” where the weather is unpredictable and well known for its cold climate… where a group of addicts called DMXer’s are located. This group is not a fraternity or gangsters just addicts who enjoys playing arcades, simulation games and making friends. DMXers was officially was formed last 2006 even though there were already a group of members started playing in the early 90’s. The hangout of DMXers before was Center Mall, Wonder Park then Shoe Mart, Quantum became the house of DMXers. DMXers is just a part of the Quantum Family called “Seikaku” which means “Character” in Japanese. The other group is called Bio-hazard… this group are the one’s who plays Tekken while DMXers are the group who plays dance simulation games such as DDR (Dance Dance Revolution), DMX (Dance Maniax), & PPP (Para Para Paradise). DMXers was founded by J.D. He is the first “GM” Game Master to be voted in handling the group and representing it. The Current “GM” of DMXers now is Levy. DMXers currently have one hundred members plus. Not all are active. It’s not only a group of Filipinos. A group that you can have whatever age you have right now. A group you can share your laughs and as well as your problems. In other words, DMXers is also a family. DMXers not only plays for fun and enjoyment but it also our passion. We love to dance, to sweat and to entertain. DMXer volunteer activity.
